EMEA Sales Manager

Role and responsibilities
The Sales Manager is the business owner and drives all the operations in his territory to reach objectives, reporting to the Chief Business Officer. Territory scope (countries / regions) will be defined based on experience and business priorities. The role carries full revenue responsibility for a high-growth EMEA territory. This role is initially an individual contributor role with potential team build-up over time.
Clear objectives will be defined for the first 6–12 months, focusing on pipeline build-up, distributor performance and revenue growth.
The role includes significant autonomy in distributor selection, commercial negotiations and territory prioritization.
To be successful in this position, you will receive impactful technical, Tool and commercial support by our business units and demand generation driven by the marketing and corporate account team.
You demonstrate a strong hunter mindset with proven ability to create and develop and monitor a sales pipeline.
You are comfortable working with sales forecasts, KPIs and CRM tools to steer performance.
You have a strong sense of ownership and accountability for results, pricing and margins.
You combine strategic thinking with a pragmatic, hands-on execution style.
You are comfortable working autonomously in an international, agile and entrepreneurial Sales and technical environments.
You are highly independent, self-driven, take the initiative, are highly accountable and results driven?
You translate business insights into targets?
Are you free to travel min 50% of your time in your sales region?
Are you an excellent communicator, an active listener, showing empathy?
Are you creative and innovative, solutions-oriented mind?
You have minimum 5 years’ success in a sales position within the food diagnostics industry (e.g. dairy sector) or in a similar field.
You are holding a degree in science or engineering (e.g. bioengineering, veterinary, biochemistry, etc.) or can show equivalent acquired skills.
Additionally, you are fluent (oral and written) in English and at least one other language such as Spanish, Polish, Italian, German or Dutch. Knowledge of French English is a plus.
The position requires to be based in Liège (Belgium).
